Oscar's trip to the North Pole

Dear Oscar, friend of 13 1/2 years, went to the North Pole to work for Santa yesterday. His great big heart literally grew too big and surrendered peacefully during a visit to the veterinarian. He was a wonderful companion for my wife, Lynn, and a faithful traveler of over 99,000 miles with me in The Wonder Egg. His tail was wagging until the end. He brought joy to many around campfires and at hospice. His departure was swift and peaceful.

His legacy shall continue . . .

According to Hollie, Santa has an endless supply of Greenies for special companions like Oscar. At least that's what Oscar told her. It's true, just look under the tree! Thank you for sharing his exploits with us. Sorry for your loss. Take care my friend and keep traveling.......

I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a pet such as Oscar the wonder dog is almost like losing a child . I loved the stories of Oscar and his frienDS and of your travels together . He is not gone far as he is planning more adventures for when you two are reunited .
